CONCEPT&
PET PROJECT
Our team loves what they do. Circus
came up as an idea, that later became
a concept and a pet project.
PRE-ELABORATION
During this phase, the game is shaping up to
become a playable version of the concept.
The outcome of this phase can be used to
test with other people.
PAPER PROTOTYPE
A quick way to generate ideas that will be refined on the computer later. At this point, the team brainstorms a lot of levels, rather than working on a fully working piece of the game. This allows experimentation.
LEVEL
EDITOR
The editor was created to enhance
the cooperation between designers
and developers
, allowing the levels
to be tested before coding.
It gives the designer, freedom to experiment, without depending on the programmer to
test ideas and to plan according to the mechanics of the game.
FIRST USERTESTS
After developing a stable and playable concept, it is time to let the users say what they think. And then go back to the drawing board.
TEST CYCLE
We test and go back to the sketch board. We even invited kids and adults to test the game on our labs.
We do this to adjust playability and to discover the fun factor.
Our Usability Lab ensures that we invite the right profile of gamers to give us feedback.
TUNING-ADJUSTMENTS
At this point, the team develops the levels
making adjustments that were observed during
the user tests.
RELEASE It
HELLO WORLD!
It is time to release our game to the world and hear back what people have to say about it.
Social networks, emails and comments left on the stores are material for our next iterations of the game.
